Fall plans

The Authors Publish summer Character course went well! It was a lot of work, and as such, I did less of my own writing than I planned over the break. I fell off the short story submission wagon for a few months and did get back on last month. Got 3 requests to hold onto stories, so that's exciting.

The new school year is starting, and I'm in for a week of long meetings and some room time. Totally getting ahead of ordering supplies this year. I am already underway with that!

I am also offering a September-October course through Authors Publish. It will be the second iteration of The Story Beneath the Story. The focus of the first iteration was a foundation of a variety of skills on emotional craft. This second installment will focus on transformation and change. We will devote four weeks to character changes and two weeks to changes and shifts in pacing (scene).
